Gospel of the day with commentary for Tuesday, June 30. Matthew. 46th chapter: Matthew 12:14-16, 22-30: "Then the Pharisees went out and plotted against Him, how they might destroy Him. But when Jesus knew it, He departed from thence. And a great multitude followed Him, and He healed them all, and forbade them to tell of Him any more. … Then they brought to Him a man possessed with devils, blind and dumb; and He healed him, so that the blind and dumb man both spoke and saw. And all the people were amazed, saying, Is not this the Christ, the Son of David? Then when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This man does not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub, the prince of the devils. But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said to them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand. And if Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand? And if I by Beelzebub cast out demons, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they will be your judges. But if I by the Spirit of God cast out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. Or how can anyone enter into a strong man's house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house. He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters.
