KUM AS2 Automatic Long Point Sharpener Review - 2 Stage Pencil, 2mm & 3 mm Leads - (aka Blackwing)

Blackwing 2-stage Sharpener is a similar sharpener from the same manufacturer, with different branding. I found this out 2 weeks after publishing this video... just that it comes for more than 2x the price of the KUM Blackwing Sharpener is the variant that does not have the 2mm and 3.15 mm lead pointers. Blackwing, in all likelihood, buys the sharpener from KUM and just slaps its logo on it (i.e White Labelling). KUM has put a lot of thought in sustainability and planned durability of this product, which is refreshing to see in a world plagued with the malaise of planned-obsolescence across products and categories. This immediately makes me a fan of the company and the sharpener - we need more companies thinking and working on this philosophy. The KUM long point is a multi-purpose / multi-mode sharpener that works with Wooden Pencils, 2 mm lead holder / mechanical Pencils sharpener and 3.15 mm Mechanical Pencil sharpener, making it an all-in-one desktop sharpener. It also has a unique 2 stage wooden pencil sharpening that opens up a world of possibilities for artists with some potential mods.
