Cabinetmaking is a 100% weather-sensitive skill. Imagine that there's a furniture town: Pont-de-Bonvoisin in Isère. Since the reign of Francis I, the region's walnut trees have been used to make tables, beds, and chests of drawers. Only a few workshops remain, where we met men proud to perpetuate this exceptional craft.
