Diagnosing a Bad Lifter the Old-Fashioned Way
Fresh rebuild. Fresh problems. That's how it goes sometimes. After finally getting our 1965 Ford F-250 back on the road after 25 years, we noticed something wasn't quite right with the freshly rebuilt 352 V8. What started as a celebration quickly turned into a diagnosis session as we chased down a lifter issue hiding inside this old Ford. In this episode, you'll ride along on test drives to get the engine up to temperature, help us pull the valve covers to track down the problem, watch the repair process, and join us for the final test drive to see if we finally got this old beast running the way it should. This is the longest video we've ever put together, and it captures the reality of bringing old iron back to life—sometimes the victories come with a few setbacks. Did we fix it? Did the old 352 finally smooth out? You'll have to watch to find out. If you enjoy classic truck revivals, diagnostics, fabrication, and seeing old American iron get a second chance, hit that Like button, Subscribe, and join us for the journey. 🛠️ Built, not bought. 🇺🇸 Classic steel. Modern fire. #donerightevenbetter #classiccars
