Thailand Railway travel. Bangkok to Kanchanaburi Only 100 Baht. Cheap Rail travel in Thailand. Thonburi Railways Station in Bangkok, also known as Bangkok Noi To Kanchanaburi Thailand Memories was filmed in 2017 and has been re edited. Prices were correct at the time of filming in 2017. The train leaves Bangkok twice a day. 7.55am & 1.55pm Platform one. The journey takes around 2 hours 30 mins. It is a 3rd class journey with wooden seats, no air con, & open windows. Be sure to take on board some water as it gets hot. Refreshments are brought on board half way through the train ride. All in all a great little experience. I would definitely do it again.
