The driving manuals beginners receive at driving schools are also based on this same document. Since everyone is studying the same content to obtain their driver's license, it's only natural that the videos would be similar. This sample guideline was likely created over 50 years ago, when the designated driving school system was introduced, and its foundation remains unchanged. While it would be ideal for "good and bad" guidelines to be continually updated as times change, this does not appear to be the case.
