[4K] 🇯🇵 Tokyo Medium Capacity Transit | All the Lines

Tokyo has a variety of monorails and people movers all over the metropolitan area which cover certain areas in need of middle capacity transit. Some were built as a regular municipal transit lines, airport express services, or in anticipation for big events. Nearly all of these lines get good ridership being built in places that don’t have many other options. It’s a cheaper transit mode than metro/railway but also higher capacity and faster than a tram making them pretty good at their job. Japan is one of the countries where you can find the most varied amount of middle capacity transit and Tokyo is no exception. I fully recommend visiting some of these as they offer a unique transit experience and are often cheap.
