FPSO Tandem Offloading and shuttle Tanker Animation
Tandem loading operation between a shuttle tanker and a FPSO. Transfer of fluid/gas from the stem of a FPSO to the bow of the shuttle tanker. Tandem offloading can be performed with a hose and hawser handling system with dedicated DP shuttle tankers. It is very important to take into account the possibility of sudden changes in the environment, such as wind squalls and tide-rips.
