X Minus One - The Man in the Moon (#6)
05/29/55, episode 6 This episode provided by the Old Time Radio Researchers Group www.otrr.org George Lefferts wrote this as he wrote four of the first seven X Minus One stories. In this one, John Smegley is missing, so of course this involves the Federal Bureau of Missing Persons. The bureau is having trouble because interference from, of all places the moon, is interrupting a message. Then we find out a list of missing persons is assembled before the person is missing. A good story with a few twists. (from "The Critical X Minus One" by Jim Fanisher) Credits (Goldin): William Welch (producer), Ed Latimer, Fred Collins (announcer), Fred Weihe (director, transcriber), George Lefferts (writer), Joe DeSantis, Luis Van Rooten, Bob Haag, Ross Martin, Santos Ortega, Sydney Smith
