Suhail requested the client to deposit a large sum into his account, claiming it would boost the bank's performance metrics and help him secure a promotion. The Method of Fraud: Trusting the manager, the client provided a cheque for 50 million rupees. Instead of depositing the funds into the client's account, Suhail allegedly handed the cash to his brother-in-law to hide the assets. Police Investigation: When the money failed to appear in the client's account, a case was registered. SSP Investigation Muhammad Naveed explains that police tracked the suspects by analyzing CDRs and account statements. While the main accused (the manager) is currently out on bail, police successfully raided and recovered 30 million rupees from his brother-in-law. A Vital Warning: Authorities are urging citizens to never hand over cash to bank staff for "performance" or "goodwill" reasons.
