Pattong (Yalab, Bontoc)

The Dawak Celebration in the Cordillera After the church wedding ceremony, the dawak celebration follows at the home of either the bride or the groom. Family members, relatives, friends, and invited guests gather to share a meal, socialize, and celebrate with the newlyweds. The pattong serves as the primary social dance, sustaining the festive atmosphere throughout the gathering.
