In this video, I will help you identify what oil filter to use in your Encore 1.4 L. The listing for the filter can be tricky. Even the owners manual only says to use the one type of filter. The difference in the design is because of the oil filter housing assembly. Two different ones were used during production. I'll tell you what size of tools to use and show you step by step how I do it. This procedure also can apply to certain Chevrolet Trax. If your cap says UFI use PF2263G If your cap says HENGST use the PF2257G
