El binomio fantástico | Maria M. Lobo | TEDxTucuman

This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. María Marta, in a very engaging and practical talk, guides us through a widely used Creative Writing technique: "The Fantastic Binomial." This concept, coined by the Italian writer Gianni Rodari, is present in a subtle way in most contemporary novels and short stories. María Marta Lobo is a writer and teacher. Her first collection of short stories, Un pequeño militante del PO (A Little Militant of the Workers' Party), has just been published by the Buenos Aires-based publisher Pirani Ediciones. She coordinates and directs the Narrative Workshop at the Eugenio F. Virla Cultural Center of the National University of Tucumán (UNT). There, she also teaches a reading seminar. In addition, she dedicates herself to teaching and research at the National University of Tucumán (UNT) and the Santo Tomás de Aquino University of the North (UNSTA), in the areas of culture and radio and audiovisual content development. Her academic works have been published in Argentina and Latin America and she is co-author of various books published at UNT and UNC. She is currently preparing the defense of her thesis to qualify for the title of Doctor of Humanities, at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters (UNT). About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
