Vigil For Indy's Pennsylvania Railroad Position Lights
April 1, 2026. April Fools Day. The 50th Anniversary of the formation of Conrail. Also, the day the Pennsylvania Railroad Position Lights came down at CP Dale in Indianapolis. Two dwarf signals were also replaced at this location. Bituminous Kole held vigil for these stalwarts over the past several weeks. See the last images of the position lights standing and lit, with trains from CSX, the Indiana Railroad, and the Louisville and Indiana Railroad passing under their watch. 0:00:00 Intro 0:00:56 Maps, CP Dale in Indianapolis 0:01:23 INRD Avon Turn, Dwarf Lights 0:08:43 CSX Train M688 0:09:27 LIRC Train Z550 0:20:39 2nd CSX Train M688 0:36:22 Position Lights Close Up, Lit 0:39:29 2nd INRD Avon Turn 0:47:56 2nd LIRC Train Z550 0:53:35 Last Looks at Lit Position Lights 0:54:07 And They're Gone 0:55:33 Flyover To See All Four New Signal Towers 0:59:54 Left For Scrap 1:01:27 Outro #trains #signals #pennsylvaniarailroad #drone #csx https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?...
