Wild fires aerial operations in Portugal Canadair CL-215 and Kamov Ka-32
Wild fire aerial operations on the 5th August 2017 in the outskirts of the town of Tomar (Central Portugal). The fire raged in a pine tree forest (Pinus pinea) mixed with olive tree groves. The Civil Protection Authority used 3 heavy aerial platforms: 2 Canadair CL-215 airplanes and 1 Kamov Ka-32 helicopter.
