#fluke #gulp #fishing #fishinglife #fishingvideo Here we are on the second day of our Nantucket Shoals monster Fluke trip. We had Ike break the DD barrier in my last video with a 12.5LB fluke. Today, we didn't leave the dock until 10am as we were dealing with the remnants of Hurricane Debby passing through. It was much slower overall than the previous day. But, I believe we got the pre storm chew and the post storm chew cause as the day went on it just got better and better! We were rewarded when we did find the fish. Today, was a quality over quantity type day. We still had our limit but we released a lot of large fluke! We ended the day releasing 2 - 11LBers, 2 - 10LBers, a 9LB, and 3 - 8LBers. Can't kill them all or we will wipe out this fishery. Personally, I hope to one day get up there with my father and sons. We had plenty of meat to go around. I was monster fishing both of our days out there. Fishing a single hook rig for the majority of the time and finally ended with a chicken rig that did the trick. We had our DDs on pink shine gulp and now a new favorite of mine orange belly shrimp. Fishing 6" gulp grubs. Awesome day was with Captain Ray on the Lyndsy Liz!
