Panoramic Hike to Crap de la Paré, Livigno // Hiking in Italy [4K 60fps]

27.10.2023 Happy New Year! One of the highlights during our trip to Livigno (aside from the delicious takeout pizza while watching all three Shrek movies on netflix in our cozy airbnb), was our hike up to the Crap de la Paré. With the magnificent scenery of the Livigno Valley, the glorious mountains and Bernina glacier in the background, and Lago di Livigno below, this has been one of my top hikes of 2023 and I am so grateful we were able to visit Livigno during the fall season. And as with our hike to Lago di Livigno the day before, we started from the Livigno Snowfarm, hiked through a bit of the larch forest, past the parking area P11 So'mp Eira (supposedly the official trailhead of the hike), and up to the large wooden cross that marked the end of the Crap de la Paré trail. The well-marked trail had a gradual elevation but was not demanding nor dangerous and we were never out of breath or exhausted beyond our wits (unlike our hike at Grosser Mythen!).
