My own will and desires? Or God's will? The people of Judah also faced a choice. They compared the Creator God to idols made by human hands, and ultimately chose idols. But idols are not merely things made by hands. Even though we profess to believe in God, when we try to mold God to our will, we treat God like an idol. True faith is not about using God. Instead of seeking God to fulfill our own desires, we are about molding our lives and our wills to God's will. God wanted to save us from sin and death. Jesus came for us, because we could not live according to that will. And we, who have been saved by faith, can now live by choosing God's will. So, faced with daily choices, let's ask what God's will is. Follow God's will, preach the way of life and walk in that path.
