The answer is yes, if you build the right system. This episode is all about the practical side of life. The reason for the experiment was personal: back problems forced me to reconsider the usual "go, shop, and carry the bags" routine. My family wants to eat every day, which means we need a working system, not a one-time solution. I tested various grocery delivery options in Prague, from popular services to chain supermarkets. Some proved convenient, but too expensive. Sometimes I overpaid by up to 20-25% compared to a regular purchase at Lidl or Kaufland. This was critical for me: the goal wasn't just to make it convenient, but to keep my budget the same. In the end, the combination worked: Tesco online (iTesco.cz) + Lidl offline. The scheme turned out to be simple and logical. Lidl is for fresh groceries that you want to choose yourself: vegetables, fruits, meat. Tesco online is for everything else: household chemicals, cereals, pasta, canned goods, drinks, eggs, and household items. Basically, the entire "heavy" part of the basket that usually wastes your back and time. I talk about Tesco's club delivery in a separate video. For a fixed monthly fee, you get free deliveries during selected time slots. Plus, there's a loyalty program with vouchers that actually earn you some cash back. Result: — budget hasn't increased — food quality is normal — time savings are noticeable — physical exertion is minimal Yes, there are some nuances—you need to check the order contents and keep an eye on the receipt. But these are minor details compared to how much energy it frees up.
