In the chaos of a high-intensity ambush, discipline and teamwork are the only things that will keep you alive. This short movie follows a series of operations through the eyes of the Machine Gunner, from the initial SITREPs to the final, desperate stand of a solo survivor. I'm sure that if you read a book on being a Machine Gunner, it would dictate suppression and squad support, but the reality on the ground is often far more unhinged - also, I've never read a book on being a Machine Gunner... do they even make those? Anyway, from night-ops infiltration to the high-stakes theft of an enemy vehicle, this is a look at what happens when a tactical plan meets the silly & goofy unpredictability of the front lines. And on the other side, it shows what happens when you're just another piece in the meat grinder.
