July 19, 2026 Sunday Afternoon Praise Service Pastor Yeon-sil Kim How much have you been forgiven? Matthew 18:23-35 23 Therefore the kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. 24 When he settled accounts, he brought in one who owed him 5 talents. 25 Since he had nothing to pay, the master ordered that he sell himself, his wife, his children, and all that he owned to pay. 26 The servant fell on his knees and said, “Have mercy on me, and I will pay you back.” 27 The master had compassion on him and let him go and forgave him his debt. 28 Then the servant went out and found a fellow servant who owed him 100 denarii. He took him by the neck and said, “Pay me back!” 29 The fellow servant fell on his knees and pleaded, “Have mercy on me, and I will pay you back.” 30 But the master did not allow it. So he went and had him thrown into prison until he paid the debt. 31 When his fellow servants saw this, they were very sorry for him and went to the master and told him everything. 32 Then the master [wrote] him He summoned him and said to him, “You wicked servant! I forgave you your entire debt because you begged me. 33 Should not you also have mercy on your fellow servant, just as I had mercy on you?” 34 Then the master was angry and handed him over to the jailers to pay back the full debt. 35 If you do not forgive your brother from your heart, my heavenly Father will do the same to you.
