FLORES ARROCHA The Bloodiest Bandit of the Serranía de Ronda Francisco Flores Arrocha, 1887-1932, born in Igualeja (Málaga, Andalusia, Spain), was a village shepherd. His life as a bandit began in 1931 when, following a family dispute over a farm called "La Mentirola," he wanted to buy it from his father-in-law, who sold it to his brother-in-law, Salvador Becerra. In the summer of 1931, at the town festival in Igualeja, he showed up with a shotgun to ask his cousin to sell him the farm and the land. When his cousin refused to sell, he fired the shotgun, unfortunately killing Salvador's daughter. After these events, he fled to the mountains with his nephew Pedro Flores and was pursued by the Civil Guard. In November 1932, he showed up at the Mentirola farm and, with several shots, killed his cousin Salvador Becerra, his wife Josefa, and his son José. After a relentless pursuit by the Civil Guard, on December 31, 1932, Flores Arrocha was killed. His body was transported by mule to the town of Marbella. #bandit #bandit #andalucia #malaga
