Destination WA - Wilman Wadandi Highway and Wadandi Track Expansion
The Wilman Wadandi Highway opened to traffic in December 2024. As the largest transport infrastructure project delivered in the region, the highway is improving travel times, enhancing safety, and supporting a more reliable network for locals, tourists and freight operators. The Wadandi Track Expansion is set to extend to almost 110 kilometres by 2028. When complete, it will become one of the longest rail trails in Australia.
