Building the Estes Little Joe II in 1/45 Scale

The Estes 1/45 scale Little Joe II kit was originally released in late 2015, and is a great replica of a critical element of the history of Project Apollo. The kit is inspired by a similar kit released by Centuri in 1969, and even uses some of then original parts from that vintage release. However, this is a completely reimagined model using contemporary engineering and design. In this video you'll watch as an experienced scale modeler uses a wide range of techniques to build, paint, and decal the model, resulting in a great looking replica capable of flight.
