Day 16 of playing Infinitode until I get top 1 [Level 1.7, 1,955,507 Score, No Gauss]

I didn't use gauss this run. Instead, I wanted to try how other towers can defend. Infinitode 2, Stage 1, Level 1.7, Score 1,955,507 Waves 253, top 25 at the time in score, top 46 in waves. I had fun with this one, I did two attempts, though the first one did better. Some things I know for certain after doing them: cannon is useless, flamethrower is better. minigun probably should be above the crushers, so that it the enemies in the crushers (who receive most damage) get the vulnerability debuff. venom is by far the most damaging tower, then the pair of crushers, then the tesla/snipers, but actually missile has potential in 🟥strong waves - the missile had higher mdps than the tesla on its right (those two should've been swapped by the way for the tesla's lvl10 ability to work). The laser is surprisingly not useless damage wise, and speaking of laser... I used some strange (off-meta) tower configurations: 1,2 on minigun (complete mistake, 1,3 is way better), 1,3 on laser, which is necessary for making the flamethrowers do more damage, and if the laser always attack the enemies in the crushers, the freezing effect reduction isn't bad. The sniper's ultimate was rather underwhelming. I had the extra explosion piercing in the research (for the ability it goes from 72% to 76% from my testing). In the other run I did I tried some of the improvements mentioned, but I also tried double sniper and it didn't end up paying off that well. I think with just a powerful sniper and minigun(s) above the crushers you'd do better. One of the flamethrowers would be with ultimate. The ultimate venom would also be where the main minigun was in this run. Overall, it was a fun run, even if competitively, you can't just not use gauss (at least in the earlier/non-bonus stages). I think I will retry this someday, with the improvements mentioned. I also want to make missile work. If there is one thing that's actually interesting about this, then it is the fact that the 1,3 laser actually works for this. For when the enemies died efficiently, the laser was attacking and giving the fire effect consistently to the enemies in the crushers, making the synergy with flamethrowers (they do extra damage to enemies on fire) work. This is honestly surprising, as normally you'd never use any setup other than 2,3 on a laser, as its only purpose is to increase enemy bounties and thus early wave call score.
