One Wind : Ultralight Tent Review from my backyard proving grounds.

This One Wind tent is ultra-light weighing just 3.08 pounds. Military tents are usually around 10 lbs, so this really is super light! It isn't super roomy so you can't put your big yuksack inside the tent with you while camping out in it. The tent does happen to have nice head room so you can sit up while inside it pretty comfortably. It is pretty nice for a three-season tent. MSRP is around $149.90. This was given to me from amazon for an honest review, I am not sponsored or receive money for this review. What I don't like about it; the zippers are low budget. If you stake it down tight and try to unzip, you will find it's better to loosen the lines before messing with the zippers to open it up. Not a deal breaker, and almost all tents act like that. Setup wasn't difficult, but it isn't free standing like an ICS Army tent. The tent is only three poles, eight aluminum stakes and two guy lines. Making it easy for one person to pop it up in a few minutes. The guy lines can be used to rig the flap higher using trekking poles to use this tent as a sunshade. I think for hiking this tent and its ultra-light weight would work for me. I also think it would be good when it's hot out, and you just want a cool place to sleep. Ok time for some bad news- Update on 5/3 storms rolled through, and this tent had some water in it from the foot end of the tent. - So that is something to be aware of- I'd suggest using it with a bivy bag, and just using the top flap for shade. GL all. Thanks for checking out this video. #onewind #ultralight #camping #ultralighttent #campinggear #tent #hiking #fishing #fyp #fypage #bugoutbaggear #bugouttent
