Obroni Ensemble feat. Master drummers of Ghana - NYE MGE NURU

Nye Mge Nuru is a traditional Dagaari church entrance song based on Psalm 47. This a arrangement made in collaboration with the Master Drummers of Ghana. Daniel Brown, Christopher Ametefe, and Sampson Kuudenign all come from the same country, but each brings a unique musical tradition. For this project, their instruments—which rarely play together in Ghana—came together in the Czech Republic, creating a rare and magical encounter of sound.
