For now, these are my conclusions: No one has mentioned having the connection problem with the Cort bass and the Ibanez guitar yet, so we can assume that the unit I received had a problem with the jack. The noises and clicks I detected during the transmission tests seem to have been due to interference in the Wi-Fi signal, as several of you have mentioned that You're experiencing problems and signal drops when there are Wi-Fi routers nearby.
