This is a rendition I wrote to adapt to the theme of MLP:FiM. It's about the story leading up to episode one, as well as the events that happen in said episode. Check out his stuff! https://www.deviantart.com/sea-maas -------------------------------- Lyrics: (v1) They say there was a jealous mare With dark blue skin and starry hair And everypony says her name was Luna But then one night of pain and tears She started one of a thousand years And from the Moon, she could hear the Hallelujah (v2) Some will tell you otherwise But there's another one who cries the words "Sister mine, I thought I knew ya "Now look at you, you've grown so tall "But no one knows your face at all "When you return we'll all sing Hallelujah" (v3) Ponies gathered from around To celebrate as the sun went down But no one had foreseen the grand illusion A flash of light the thunder rolls The absence of their only hope The stranger screams in vengeance Hallelujah (v4) Oblivious and out of sight The real hero of the night Was lost inside her very own conclusion But then behind the nightmare's call She heard the voices down the hall And when she did it felt like Hallelujah (v5) We've heard the tale a million times But many folks don't realize The weight behind a powerful bonding union It's not a myth engraved in stone It can't be felt when all alone It makes me tell the whole world Hallelujah
