Périscolaire : combien d’années perdues ? (Ils ont tenté d’alerter)

Some children are yelled at simply for not being hungry. Others are forcibly kissed on the mouth. Complaints of sexual assault, of rape. A few months ago, the scandal at the Parisian after-school program sent shockwaves through the country, becoming a major issue in the municipal elections. The topic even crossed the city limits to become a national news story. Yet, these cases of sexual violence, these physical and verbal assaults, took a very long time to be truly addressed—to the point of recognizing a systemic problem. Journalistic work was crucial and may have saved many children, even though all of this could have been prevented if it had been addressed years earlier. For this video, I met with journalists who covered the topic at key moments, as well as the SOS Périscolaire collective, a mother, and a youth worker. From the first articles published by the local press years ago to the Cash Investigation report broadcast in January 2026, this video looks back at the media frenzy that triggered this explosion. 📹 This video was produced entirely independently. It took me two months to script this piece, interview contacts, stay up-to-date on the latest news regarding after-school programs, and edit the video. ❤️🔁📲 If you'd like to support me, please like, comment, and share the video as much as possible!
