Uçar mentioned that he had suffered a serious injury in Konya during his playing career, which hampered his career, and added: "I don't know if I should call it a twist of fate, but today I'm here in a different story as a coach. I'm feeling very different emotions, I'm very excited. This is my first trophy as a coach, hopefully there will be more to come. I came here because I believed in the players. I thank them for their efforts and hard work. They gave everything, they did whatever we asked. And we reaped the rewards." Uçar, who also thanked the president and club managers, said, "I thank the people of Çorum very much. Because they were incredibly united. They lived and breathed with us. They deserved this championship the most. Let them celebrate, let them have fun, but let them drive carefully, let them not travel at night. Let our joy not be short-lived. After that, we will continue this celebration in Çorum. Çorum is in the Super League." Erokspor side Esenler Erokspor Technical Director Güray Gündoğdu congratulated Çorum FK on their promotion to the Super League and wished them success. Gündoğdu stated that they were saddened by their loss in the final, adding that they conceded goals from positions they had practiced.
