VFR Flight vlog - North Sea Islands tour - Lelystad to Wangerooge in a Diamond DA40 with ATC leg 1/9

So, as we had to cut short our trip to the Channel Islands we had the good old DAI reserved for another full day. The weather was great so whilst flying back from France I thought that a day of North Sea Island hopping was just the thing to do. When setting of the Wangerooge, the first stop, I had honestly no idea where the trip was going to lead us. From each airport I decided upon the next, did a quick phone call to announce myself and ask for current local knowledge and off we went. It turned out to be an epic day flying nine legs varying from 90+ to 10 minute flight. Some flights were so short I didn’t edit anything from take off to landing, how real life can you get. All very cool and fun to do.
