*This video is strictly for promotional and entertainment purposes. The rights to the music belong to their respective composers/arrangers and publishers. My doctoral recital, "Faith in Song: A Celebration of Sacred Choral Music," was performed on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025 in Santa Fe as part of the University of Northern Colorado's Chamber Choir and Latin Beat Ensemble Tour. This program, performed in the historic Cristo Rey Catholic Church, fulfilled one of the three conducting recitals necessary to graduate from the program. "Faith in Song" explores, compares, and contrasts the various styles, languages, backgrounds, and music of differing Abrahamic religions and similar offshoots, including Judaism, Orthodox Christianity, American folksong, spirituals, and more. Featuring members of the UNCO Chamber Choir and accompanied by Katie Hughes.
