Pentax PC35AF-M Tutorial, Loading & Unloading Film + All Functions Explained + Sample Photographs
In this tutorial video, I'll guide you through the process of loading film into the Pentax PC35AF-M film point and shoot camera, along with a detailed explanation of the camera's main functions. If you have a similar Pentax point and shoot, such as the PC35AF-M SE, just follow along, most of it will still work! Apart from just showing you how the camera works, I'm also providing some sample photographs that I've made with the camera and a roll of Kodak Tri-X. That way, you'll be able to see what the camera, or rather the lens, is capable of. Honestly, the Pentax PC35AF-M is one of the most underrated point and shoot cameras currently and I think it can easily compete with the Olympus Mju series and the Yashica T series as well! In the first part of the video, I'll walk you step-by-step through the process of loading film into the camera. You'll learn how to open the camera's back cover, load the film correctly, and advance it to the first frame. I'll also provide tips on avoiding common film loading mistakes to ensure smooth and error-free operation. In the second part of the video, I'll cover all the main functions of the PC35AF-M camera. I'll explain how to change the ISO settings to match the film you're using, how to use the backlight compensation button to adjust the exposure, and how to utilize the self-timer for self-portraits or group shots. I'll also show you how operate the rewind mechanism to rewind your film when you've finished shooting. So grab your camera, some AA batteries, a roll of film and let's get started on your film photography journey!
