But if you still want to try it, it's important to know some basic rules. 1. Equip yourself properly. A quick trip to Decathlon will do the trick. Good walking shoes and sturdy pants are recommended. 2. Don't steal or damage anything. Just be a visitor; don't steal or damage anything. Be like a cat that simply leaves traces of its presence. 3. Be extremely vigilant. A place abandoned for years is often in a state of advanced disrepair. You're never safe from falling through a floor. So be very attentive and look around you. 4. NEVER reveal the location. If you recognize the places we visit or if you have visited an abandoned place, never reveal the location publicly. People with bad intentions might venture there... 5. Never go alone. If you're planning a visit, never go alone. Exploring an abandoned place is extremely dangerous. Go with at least one other person. If you still want to go solo, let someone know the location of the place you're visiting and a time range. That's it! You're now ready to become an explorer! All that's left is to find some places; for that, Google Maps will be your best friend!
