Fitting Air Ride Suspension -1983 Mk1 Golf GTI Restoration 1.8 20v t Engine Swap Bagging

The time has come to do something to the Mk1 that I have wanted to do for a very long time! Having had the car on display at Players Classic at Goodwood a few weeks back, the decision was made to get the car on air ride as in my eyes it was sat looking like an off roader! I chose to fit the BC Racing coilovers as I knew I wanted to do the BAGS By OCD (Only Charged Dubs) conversion on them as I heard it was one of the best riding kits on the market. OCD got in touch and offered me a great deal on a conversion kit! For the management I opted to build my own manual system with a solenoid valve block and custom built switch controller that was linked to a pair of twin needle gauges in the centre console.We did have a problem with the valve block as I explain but the car is now on air ride and sitting a little better. I do need to do some more work as I need to gain another inch on the front somehow....
