Is Invasive Royal Odogaron Actually Easier Than the Original?

The Next Invasive Monster we are showing off from the new royal monster update for Monster Hunter Stories 3 is Royal Odogaron. Compared to the original, this fight is actually easier due to Odogaron switching his evasive strategy for a more offensive oriented one. The main gimmick is that he will 1. constantly combo you with invasive crimson claws even when covered with mud and 2. He actually has an AOE move now with Dragon Blast so the whole team isn't safe now. The wyvernfall gauge also got an upgrade so it will be tougher to get him down. You have to bring ice weapons and whatever partner uses Ice like Thea or Gaul for this fight. Due to losing his evasion strategy, the fight is very straight forward and not as irritating to deal with so you should be fine.
