Modding My PRS SE: What I REGRET 4 Months Later

Four months ago, I ripped the guts out of my PRS SE Semi-Hollow Piezo to see if I could make it sound and feel like a £3,000 PRS Core model. I swapped the pickups for Radioshop PAFs, added locking tuners, changed the knobs, and rewired the whole thing for 5-way switching. Now, after months of taking this guitar to rehearsals, gigs, and studio sessions... I have some regrets. In this video, I’m giving you a brutally honest 4-month update on my PRS SE modifications. We talk about why the expensive pickup upgrade didn’t give me the live clarity I needed in a semi-hollow body, why the 5-way switch upgrade was an absolute dream, and whether the locking tuners actually fixed the tuning stability issues. Plus, we talk about the one thing I didn't change: that amazing Piezo system. If you are thinking about upgrading an import guitar or trying to turn your PRS SE into a Core killer, you need to watch this first! 👇 Let me know in the comments: Have you ever regretted modding a guitar?
