(It's) Electrifying! Our Defender Overlanding Rig

We are building our Land Rover Defender 110 into a camper to go full-time overlanding. And we are learning as we go. In this week’s episode, we teach ourselves how to make and install an electrical system, and start about 26 other projects. You will see how that goes… Until recently, we were working in Europe in management roles in the nuclear (Carla) and academic (Lida) sector. Although we loved our jobs, and moreover our lives, our friends, and our home, we were up for something totally different. Now, we're in South Africa, 'working with our hands', challenging ourselves, looking forward to further explore nature and cultures, and seeking for other ways to make an impact.
