Top 10 CART Moments at The Meadowlands

Here are my Top 10 best / most dramatic / most memorable moments from CART's time at The Meadowlands CART / IndyCar ran at The Meadowlands from 1984-1991 utilizing two different layouts. From 1984-1987, they raced at a 1.6 mile configuration that involved many slow corners From 1988-1991, the layout was revised with the help of two racing legends - Mario Andretti and Rick Mears. Anecdotally speaking - this layout was one of my all-time favorites, because it raced liked an oval that was built on the streets that included two heavy braking zones. Laps were quick, lapped traffic was everywhere, and guys couldn't take 10 seconds to catch their breath I've long been a proponent of trying to get a 'street oval' somewhere on the calendar.
