💌💌💌 Hello Beautiful! 💌💌💌 It's about DAMN time that I got into my reading journal and jush'ed it up a bit! I've been in a bit of a rut when it comes to my reading journal as of late, trying to decide how I want to style it and format the pages. I finally spent some time with her today and really came out loving the outcome! I'm excited to start journaling in my reading journal now!! She is currently completing her doctorate in honey bee genomics and behavior at the University of California, San Diego. She plans to graduate in July 2022 and move on to a position as a UC Chancellor's Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, Riverside where she will begin a research project supergene evolution in native ants. Daniela strongly believes in the importance and value of science communication and education and strives to make science both accessible and enjoyable for a wide audience. Her science communication style is broadly influenced by theater, dance, spoken word, comedy, and telenovelas. She is also currently working on developing STEAM educational programming for the incarcerated communities of southern California as part of a larger prison-industrial complex abolition project.
