Jak Jan Furtok radził sobie w Bundeslidze (1988-1995)

Jan Furtok was the best Polish striker in the Bundesliga until Robert Lewandowski arrived. He spent his best years in Hamburg, where he nearly won the top scorer title. In 1988, Jan Furtok was 26 years old and a star at GKS Katowice. He finished the 1987/88 season with 18 goals. It's no wonder, then, that he attracted interest from French and German clubs. The footballer dreamed of moving abroad, but it wasn't so easy at the time, even though it was already the twilight of the Polish People's Republic. In addition to GKS, the Polish Football Association (PZPN), the Central Sports Center (CSO), and various communist officials had to approve the transfer. Hamburger SV was the most determined in trying to acquire the "Gieksa" superscorer. It was with this club that the Pole became the Bundesliga's top scorer in the 1990/91 season thanks to his excellent form in the spring of 1991. From 1993 to 1995, Jan Furtok played for Eintracht Frankfurt. Things weren't going so well there, and he decided to return to GKS Katowice. ➡️Support the Futbolowe Wzloty i Upadki channel and receive the following bonuses:    / @futbolowewzlotyiupadki   ➡️The background music used in the video is: Uplifting Upbeat Corporate | Looking Forward by Alex-Productions |    • Motivational Uplifting Upbeat Corporate by...   Music promoted by https://onsound.eu/ Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported License Sources: ➡️https://przegladsportowy.onet.pl/pilk... ➡️   • Jan Furtok ma swój mural w Katowicach!   ➡️   • Rozmowa z Janem Furtokiem.   ➡️   • Górnik Zabrze : GKS Katowice 0:4 sezon 199...
