I Shot Every Landscape With Just a 40mm Lens — Here’s What I Learned

Most landscape photographers reach for wide-angle or telephoto lenses — but what if one prime lens could do it all? In this video, I take only a 40mm prime lens into the field to capture everything from broad horizons to close, detailed scenes. Along the way, I contemplate why camera manufacturers are suddenly releasing so many 40mm lenses — and whether this “in-between” focal length could replace both 35mm and 50mm in your bag. PLUS: I'm also using a Harlowe Mini 20 LED light, and experimenting with creating my own "sunlight". 📸 Gear used: Nikon Z6iii with a Viltrox AF 40mm f/2.5 Z Harlowe Mini 20 LED 👍 Subscribe for more minimal-gear photography experiments. #LandscapePhotography #40mm #PrimeLensChallenge #PhotographyExperiment #MinimalGear
