The History of Dyslexia
We've known about dyslexia since the late 19th Century, but it wasn't for a hundred years that it gained recognition in the British Parliament. In that time, researchers have found out some fascinating things about it - but why was gender equality so important in bringing these discoveries into practical use? This ten minute video explores these issues, asking the question: what's the difference between researching for scientific advancement, and researching for human advancement?
