Wow! Santana's self-titled 1969 debut album was a revelation for me. You see, as a '90s kid, my first real introduction to Santana's music was the ubiquitous smash pop hits "Smooth" and "Maria Maria". But SANTANA (1969) is a totally different beast. This album is heavy! My favorite tracks were "Treat" and "Soul Sacrifice", though "Jingo" is pretty great too.
