The mishap left 28 people injured, including several school students. Authorities confirmed that two students suffered critical injuries, leading to limb amputations. Both were airlifted to GMC Jammu for specialized medical treatment, following quick administrative response and air referral support. The injured were initially shifted to GMC Associated Hospital Rajouri, where doctors provided emergency care. The cause of the accident is being investigated, though officials suspect overspeeding or mechanical failure. Local residents and police rushed to the scene to help rescue the students trapped inside the overturned bus.
