This video for the 2020 Festival of New Trumpet Music features music from New York-based Noah Halpern and his band, as well as a series of performances from Ashlin Parker and Trumpet Mafia. Originally founded in New Orleans, Trumpet Mafia has grown to include trumpeters from all over the world, often mixing experienced and newer players in order to create learning opportunities. The Festival of New Trumpet Music (FONT Music) is a non-profit, based in New York City. Since 2003, the festival has commissioned and presented new music from a diverse community of trumpet and brass players, through a series of performances and workshops.
