Review: S.H.Figuarts - Gokai Silver

We've finally arrived at the last of the retail Gokaiger releases (Yellow and Pink were both exclusives, and I'm sure Gokai Silver Gold Mode will be too). It was released in January, and has a retail price of ¥3,500, the same price as the previous three Gokaigers. Being my personal favorite design (despite Marvelous being my favorite character), I was looking forward to this guy. Gokai Silver features a remolded head, collar, gloves, and boots compared to the other base Gokaiger mold. The silver used tops that of Faiz and Double for sure. It's the same silver used on Shin Ichigo's gloves and boots, being a wonderful shiny, metallic silver. It looks absolutely stunning in person. He comes with 11 hands for holding his various weapons and accessories, the Gokai Cellular, a Gokai Silver Ranger Key, the Gokai Spear, and the Gokai Spear Gun Mode. I'd like to note that the Gokai Spears don't have a slot for plugging in a Ranger Key, hence the lack of a folded up Gokai Silver Ranger Key. He also does not come with a Gokai Darin like the others. I'm hoping Gokai Silver Gold Mode will come with one, but I'm not holding my breath. Overall it's a fantastic figure with a lot of impressive detail in both the figure and the weapons. Probably my favorite Sentai Figuart thus far. Let's see what Gosei Knight, the Akibarangers, and the (eventual) Go-Busters have in store for us! --- Awesome Intro thanks to Ryokuya!
