The go-e Controller requires almost no power and can therefore be connected to the same circuit as another appliance, such as an electric stove. If this is not possible, you will need to install a new circuit breaker. Now insert the conductors into the connection terminal of the go-e controller and secure them with a screwdriver. Also connect the neutral conductor and the protective earth conductor. ✅ Step 4: Connect the jack plugs For a three-phase connection, connect the jack plugs of three current transformers to the designated inputs for current measurement. For example, to sensors one through three. For a single-phase connection, you only need to use one current transformer. ✅ Step 5: Mount the current transformers For PV surplus optimization, you need enough sensors to measure the power from or to the grid. The easiest way to do this is to measure directly at the grid connection. However, it is also possible, for example, to measure the load branch and the PV inverter separately; the controller can add or subtract these measurements. In most cases, you can measure directly at the grid connection – this is the simplest method. Here, you will use three current transformers. The simplest way is to connect Phase 1 to Sensor 1, Sensor 2 to Phase 2, and Sensor 3 to Phase 3. The two arrows on the current transformer must point in the direction of current flow. When connecting to the power grid, which we refer to as the "grid," the arrow should point from the grid towards the house. For a solar inverter or an AC battery, the arrow should point from the inverter or battery towards the distribution panel. When measuring additional loads such as a water heater, the arrow should point in the direction of the load. ✅ Step 6: Attach the remaining current transformers After you have taken the direct measurement at the grid connection, you can use the remaining 3 to 5 current transformers to measure the current flow of various devices or groups of appliances in your house. If you want to measure and visualize your PV production, you must measure the current on one phase of your AC PV inverter using a sensor. If you have a battery storage system that you want to consider when optimizing your electricity consumption, use a current transformer to measure the current draw of one phase of the battery storage system. Note that this is only possible with AC battery storage systems. You can also use current transformers to measure the consumption of individual circuits, such as lighting, a water heater, an air conditioner, a sauna, or a heat pump. Now, plug the jack connector of a current transformer into one of the available inputs for current measurement, which are labeled "Sensor." Clip the current transformer onto one phase of the device or circuit whose current flow you want to measure. For three-phase devices that deliver the same power on all phases, measuring only one phase is usually sufficient, as is the case with an AC inverter. Now, plug the jack connector of a current transformer into one of the available inputs for current measurement, which are labeled "Sensor." ✅ Step 7: Connect the Wi-Fi antenna and/or the LAN cable ✅ Step 8: Restore power ➡️ Setup via the go-e Controller display: https://bit.ly/43RtGnx #goecharger #electriccar #EVcharging #chargingstation #wallbox #excessPV ▬ go-e Products ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ➡️ go-e Charger Gemini flex: https://bit.ly/3JV5aZR ➡️ go-e Charger Gemini: https://bit.ly/3QKwPyD ▬ go-e Shop ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ https://shop.go-e.com/go-eCharger-Shop ▬ go-e Blog Articles ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ The go-e Controller: https://bit.ly/3JbiRor Installing the go-e Controller: https://bit.ly/3qk5cop PV Surplus Charging: https://bit.ly/3nGxQPs Peak Shaving: https://bit.ly/3HUlB90 Follow us on: ➡️ YouTube:    / @go-e   ➡️ Instagram:   / goe.official   ➡️ Facebook:   / goe.mobility   ➡️ LinkedIn:   / go-e-gmbh
