The Rain Changed Everything at Gulches ORV Park
The forecast for North Georgia was severe thunderstorms, so I headed to Gulches ORV Park in South Carolina looking for tougher trails and bigger obstacles. Back in Washington, I thought I knew what muddy trails were like. But the clay in the Southeast is a completely different experience. As the rain continued to fall, even trails that might normally be manageable became much more challenging. I was out there alone, which meant every obstacle came with a decision. Watching other drivers work through some of the larger rock sections made it clear just how much the conditions can change when it gets wet. Sometimes terrain is only part of the story. Sometimes the weather changes everything. This is Gemba — the real place. 📍 Location: Gulches ORV Park, South Carolina 🚙 Vehicle: Jeep Wrangler 🌧 Conditions: Rain, mud, and slick clay 🎥 Filmed with: DJI Action 6 GoPro Hero 9 DJI Osmo 360 MASI7YEXPEFI0XDT DHPKHDZFFZKAFEDB HRJDXZYHS4YXXSOX QTRTQVIXIHXX0ZUJ
